Condsider These Before Joining a Network Marketing Company!

I wanted to share some questions you should ask yourself before joining a network marketing company. There are a lot of people joining network marketing, some in smart companies and some in not so smart companies. So if you are looking into a company right  now then you need to consider these things before you join!

1) IS THE COMPENSATION PLAN STRONG? Most have abandoned the old school way of binary comp plans, you know, ones where you only get paid off a lesser leg and even if you brought in a hitter, it wouldn't matter if they were not on your right leg. (who wants that headache)

2) DOES YOUR PRODUCT HAVE A LOT OF COMPETITION?
Is this a product you will constantly be defending on why it is more magical and better than its grocery store counterpart or all the other MLM's that have a very similar product?

3) IS IT IN A HIGHLY REGULATED INDUSTRY? There is yet another brand new wave of cellphone MLM's, even though throughout history they have NEVER done what they said they would do. They always promise Free service or at least a lower bill...that is, after you pay the fee to change your service and then of course, go with a lesser carrier with terrible coverage (Yes, I know this happened years ago, and trust me, there are brand new ones saying the same thing now, just ask them when they will have AT&T...NEXT MONTH!) LOL

4) IS THE TIMING RIGHT? I can tell you, Americans and people around the world are NOT interested in buying overpriced consumables right now. They are certainly interested in making money and saving money.

5) IS THE PRODUCT IN AN INDUSTRY THAT'S CONSTANTLY CHANGING? This is the number one reason why you shouldn't join technology MLM's.

On a Tight Budget?

BUILDING ON A BUDGET

Every day I connect with dozens of network marketers online,
most of them still struggling to achieve the success they
desire.

And you know one of the biggest questions I get asked
all the time goes something like this:

"I'm trying to get my business off the ground, but I'm on
a very limited budget. I need to make money
fast. What are the best low cost marketing strategies!?"

And you know what, that is a real good question.

If you are on a limited budget, you will have to approach
your business from a slightly different perspective...but
its very doable.

One of the worst things you could do is go out and spend
every last dollar you have on buying leads, PPC campaigns,
postcards, banners, or co-ops.

And yet, that's what many business owners do.

Makes no sense.

You see... spending your last dime on advertising campaigns
is the biggest mistake you could make. Why?

Because if you spend your $500 on leads, PPC, fliers,
business cards, or a postcard campaign, you might get a few
prospects, but if you don't sponsor any of them, you're
back to square one. There's no way to LEVERAGE the results.

Once you've called through your leads, it's game over!
You need more leads!

And now you're forced to spend more money to keep this
endless cycle going. It's like trying to build a business
"from pay-check to pay-check", and very few will ever
come out ahead before they're financially forced to call
it quits.

So what should you do?

What you want to do is invest your funds into
"high leverage" skills and simple activities, which you
can use over and over again to quickly and easily produce
more leads any time you want... for FREE.

And that's become very easy to do thanks to some BIG
changes which have taken place in the online world recently...

If you were going to market online in the past, you had to
be a certified search engine expert, or a wizard at
pay-per-click with deep pockets full of cash in order to
get enough traffic.

Well thanks to new Web 2.0 sites we have today like MySpace,
FaceBook, YouTube, CraigsList, and Ebay, you don't have to
spend big bucks, to tap into this massive flood of FREE traffic...

http://networkmarketingstrugglesresolved.com/goto/buildingonabudget/18

I mean why pay for leads and advertising when you can get
them for free!?

And the best part is that you don't even need to be a computer
expert to start using these simple tactics TODAY...

I wanted to recommend to you today some incredible training
by one of my favorite mentors. This training has personally
helped me leverage some simple skills and build a thriving
business on a tight budget.

There is NO Excuse When it is this EASY to Get Traffic

Today's Marketing Tip:

Okay today's strategy has to be one of the easiest ones,
perfect for newbies and those with little technical skills.

I think most people are aware of the hundreds of FREE
CLASSIFIED
ad websites on the internet.

Many network marketers start out by posting FREE CLASSIFIED
ads on many of these sites.

Some have gone on to really master this technique and
can generate THOUSANDS of dollars in income just by placing
simple FREE Classified ads online.

DO NOT ignore this simple strategy.

YOU WILL get results BUT you MUST be consistent.

THE SECRET again is MASSIVE ACTION!!

Don't just put out 10 ads and expect any results.

You need to have a plan to post 10, 20, 50 ads every day
on multiple sites on a consistent basis. This shouldn't
take more than 30-60 minutes each day.

You also need to focus on only the most popular, highly-
trafficked websites with your TARGET MARKET.

We've put together some of the top Classified Sites for
you to use in your training center...Enjoy,

Get Free Access Here: http://networkmarketingstrugglesresolved.com

Take MASSIVE ACTION my friend!

There's really no excuses when its this easy!

More Blogging Tips!!!

P.S. Russ, I saw your comment. Glad it was helpful. Connect with me on facebook and we can talk more about helping you with your business and blogging. http://www.facebook.com/jessmoffitt

Why Network Marketing will ALWAYS Work!!

Some people truly believe that network marketing really doesn’t work. To put it lightly, they’re WRONG. I am going to take the next couple of minutes to explain to you why network marketing will always work so that the next time anyone takes the time to try to tell you that network marketing doesn’t work you explain to them how misinformed they really are.

Here is reason why Network Marketing will ALWAYS work:

Even in a strong economy people will ALWAYS need
additional income:

The real truth is most people live pay check to pay check. They
aren’t able to buy the nice things that they want for
themselves and their families. There is and will always be a
increasing DEMAND for more money. Network marketing is a
simple, part time and low risk way for full time workers to
fill this need. To put it simply, as long as people need
money network marketing will ALWAYS be there to fill that
need.

People will ALWAYS want freedom from jobs they don’t enjoy:

Despite what you might think, there are people out there that
really don’t enjoy their job. They go to work because they
have to and not because they want to. Network marketing
offers a promise of true financial freedom. The ability to
leave the 9 to 5 working corporate world. This freedom will ALWAYS be
to tempting to let pass up.

People will ALWAYS want more free time to do with as they
please:

Did you know in a past poll conducted by Money magazine that
64% of American men and 68% of American women polled said
that if they had a choice between more money and more time
off they would choose the time? People cherish their free
time. Network marketing offers the promise of working from
home and making your own hours. Again, the opportunity to
create free time will ALWAYS attract people to network
marketing.

Conclusion:

As long as people crave time, money and freedom network
marketing will ALWAYS work and exist.

The next time that anyone tries to tell you that network
marketing doesn’t work you know that they couldn’t be more
wrong.

All you have to is ask your accuser 1 of 3 questions:

Do you want more money?
Do you want freedom from your job?
Do you want more time?

I guarantee they will answer yes to one of these questions.
When they do they will have proved exactly why network
marketing will always work!

Prayer

"The men of olden times who wrought well in prayer, who brought the largest things to pass, who moved God to do great things, were those who were entirely given over to God in their praying."

" 'Tis not enough to bend the knee,
And words of prayer to say;
The heart must with the lips agree,
Or else we do not pray."

Drudgery Days

I read this today in one of my devotional books. I hope that you all enjoy it!

Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Drudery days. We all have those days when work seems so dull, we wonder if we really like our jobs anymore and why we got into them. Is it all a big mistake? Or has God suddenly changed His mind about where our futures are headed?

When life has just seemed to lose its zip, it’s time to take a look at where you are. Is it the dull winter weather that’s making you feel bored? Is it a lack of challenge on this job? Do you need to take more time away from work, perhaps going on a vacation or taking a day off? Lots of things contribute to our drudgery days.

But one thing we cannot stop doing – we cannot stop doing good in Jesus’ name, on the job and off. No matter what the cause of our situation, He will help us find a way out – one that will not leave us feeling bored and useless.

When we stick with it, we will reap an unexpected harvest. God has promised it.

A Little About Leaders and Leadership

Just wanted to share a few thoughts I found about leaders and leadership.

• Leaders may be born, but leadership is made.
• Leadership requires humility and an exceptional ability to listen for the needs of others. A sense of gratitude and patience are also paramount: success takes time.
• Leadership involves love and a willingness to place others first. Respecting others and welcoming different opinions will give a leader the opportunity to serve a larger audience.
• Leadership demands action with unbridled determination. Passionate pursuit of the task at hand is critical.
• Leaders stay awake late at night (or all night!) and arise with a desire to continue the journey.
• Leadership is accompanied by discipline and the ability to persevere in all circumstances.
• Leaders consistently turn negative results or situations into positive opportunities.
• Leaders are born every day - but many leaders also die every day due to weak vision - and their dreams and aspirations pass away right along with them.
• A clear vision of what a leader seeks to accomplish obliterates any and all obstacles that may appear. A clear and compelling vision attracts followers to pick up the cause.
• A clear vision makes the leader.

Are you a leader? What's your vision?

Two Types of People

Two Types of People:

We have all seen them around us through our life, and you will recognize them in everything that they do.

1. The person who will plug along through life, living from pay-check to pay-check...paying their bills and working to make someone else rich. Somewhere along the way they will try various ventures, but will likely not ever do anything with them other than to let them set around the house...gathering dust.

2. The other type of individual will find a way to improve their life, and the life of their family...always looking for better things every day.

The difference here is not so much what the product was, but rather the persons way in which they tackle every opportunity in their life, face the fears and move ahead. I suppose that the moral here is that... if you purchase a program, such as the one from my web-site below, and simply place it in your desk drawer to be forgotten...guess what? It will not work.

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but do not quit.
Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-
It's when things go wrong that you must not quit.

Great Motivational Video

Willing to Win - Finale

10. THERE IS NOTHING IN LIFE BUT CHOICES: Virtually all of your problems can be solved just by doing something. There is only one thing in life that we don't have a choice about and that is making choices. We make decisions every single day of our life. If we try to stumble through life without making choices, then someone else is going to do it for us...it's important that we make our own choices in life.

Choose what you want out of life, set your goals and be committed to mastering what ever your choice may be. Become a master of what ever it is that you love to do and then do it better, and do it better than anyone else. Everything that we do in life will require that we know what it is that we are doing. Happiness to me is, loving what I do and having someone to pay me to do it...love what you do and accept nothing less.

If you love what you do, you will never work another day in your life...you will enjoy being where you are, and view Monday's as if they were Friday's and actually enjoy going to the office, work or what ever it is that you do.
No one can do for you what you can do for yourself and it is up to each of us to take our life in our hands, accept responsibility for our own actions and learn from what we've done in the past. After doing a self check into our own feelings, deeds, thoughts and our relationships to others and taking note of the positive aspects and the negative side, then we can move forward to some much brighter and happier days ahead.

Throughout our life, we must never allow emotions…fear, negative thinking and panic to get in our way. In our first publication (years ago) we wrote an entire section on how the emotional aspect of life controls how we react to outside forces, and this needs to be remembered when we let days of despair creep into our minds. If you have the original book, then please read it once again and pay attention to what it says about excess emotional baggage in life and how we carry it forward on our foreheads, like some coat of armor to be proud of.

This is why so many people are extremely successful when they follow a solid set of rules, and then lose the kitchen sink when they reach their self-destruct point. They forget what got them to the successful point in their life and let many of the factors that kept them down at one point, creep back into their minds…they lose the fast track to success and fall victim to their own set of failure baggage.

We are all on a great journey in life, and I would hope that we all will arrive at the same location together...although, this is not likely as we will always loose some folks along the way, because of various reasons and circumstances...some we cannot help as in illness or the moving on to a greater and happier place, without taxes, bills and Government meddlers. But, nothing short of death, will keep me from getting where I want to be.

I have said to everyone over the last few years, that it is far easier to get rich a little bit at a time rather than trying to get it all at once. This is not the lottery system and the odds are by far, a great deal easier here than playing the lottery.

I wish everyone would stand back take a few deep gulps of air, take inventory of where you are, where you want to be and then decide to either take the giant step to get there and then, do what ever needs to be done to do it...and then do it.

But please, no excuses, no detours and no playing the 'poor me' game along the way...we are either going to be successful at what we choose to do, or we will be off looking for some other 'get rich' program that looks good on paper but SADLY, never works well in the real world. You've seen them and I know many folks, who have tried them only to learn that...the only people that made the money was the guy who sold it to you.

I do wish you my very best and I will continue to help in any way possible, but I can't force you along the way, and neither can anyone else. The help is there, but it is up to you to step up, and take advantage of the aid offered, in order to further your learning curve. I do not let anything stop me from doing what I feel will give me and my family a comfortable life in the future.

Contact me (personally) when ever the need comes up where you may need a 'Hand Slap' or a 'kick start' to get you motivated again...outside of this, I just don't know what else I can do to get you where you wish to be. When I started, there was NO ONE around that I could turn to for help...those with the needed information were only interested in selling educational material, they didn't want to give me the time of day...I learned the hard way through many ups and downs...and for your own sake, I hope you will avoid that frustration. Life is difficult enough, without folks going into a self destruction mode with no apparent reason, other than giving themselves permission to only succeed to a certain point and no further…this thinking has simply escaped me my whole life, and I will never understand this type of thinking or approach to learning anything new.

The Will to Win (Part 9)

9. GIVE UP THE WAY IT IS TO HAVE IT THE WAY YOU WANT IT: People have told me, "they have read the books, gone to the seminars, and done it all but it is so difficult to change". It is not difficult to change and when it becomes more difficult to put up with the excuses and self destructive behavior then you will change.

What the real truth is here, is when you are willing to give up suffering, you can get anything you want out of life. When you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, when you've had enough of not having enough then that is the day you will turn your life around...but, most people must wait until their back is up against the wall before they are willing to make a change in their life. If you want to give up something that will get you on the road to change and have it happen quickly...then give up the notion that it takes a LONG TIME to change.

People pay huge amounts of money to go to self improvement seminars, they ask their doctor's should I change my life, should I go to a 'shrink' ...actually I would say no, that is for hemorrhoids and they are working on the wrong end.

You can change your own life, you do not need any outside help to take this task on, but it is within each of us to do it for ourselves if indeed we truly want to do it, before anything can be accomplished...you might as well do it now rather than tomorrow, next week or next year. There will not be a good time later to make changes and if you are feeling the need to change or the urge to seek something different then the time to take on the chore is NOW NOT LATER.

Willing to Win (Part 8)

8. KNOW THAT IT'S OK TO MAKE MISTAKES: You can not fail as a person. Your job can fail, your business can fail, your marriage can go to crap...but you can't fail as a person, this is all changeable and within your control. None of us can ever live up to our own perception of ourselves and we will fall short, in our own minds to our success-failure ratio.

We are going to make mistakes and we need to separate ourselves from who we are to what we do. If we stand back and observe our behavior and note our mistakes we can approach a place where we can change the way we do things and then feel more at ease in knowing that it is OK to make mistakes, if we are willing to learn what went wrong and take the necessary steps to change the path that we were on.

Those that go through life making no mistakes are those that 'tip toed through life, on their way to death safely, they are not doing much out in the world', basically they are dead but just don't have the good sense to lay down...a very boring existence indeed.

Live life in the present moment and live every day as though it were your last, and someday...you will be right. Most people are afraid to die because they have never really lived...their not alive and at the end of their life they are not going to think about the things they did...but rather the things they wanted to do but they didn't do.

How many people do you know that have failed BIG? I know many including myself and if you feel that you cannot accept success until you've failed big and haven't done that yet...then you had better get busy. For if you are participating in life at some point you are going to fail, things are not going to work out all the time for all the people...it just won't happen. You cannot fail as a person, so give up that feeling and learn from what you do and move on with the rest of your life.

Joy is My Strength

Joy Is My Strength

Philippians 4:1-9

Nehemiah 8:10

A great deception and lie from Satan is that we cannot enjoy our lives in the midst of trials and unpleasant circumstances. If you study the life of Christ, the Apostle Paul, and others, their lives proved otherwise. They knew joy was a spiritual strength that would help them overcome their problems. According to Galatians 5:22, joy is a fruit of the Spirit--not the fruit of sadness or depression.

The lack of joy is why we sometimes give up when we should be enduring to the end. The presence of joy gives us the endurance to withstand the attacks of the Devil and to overcome the overwhelming circumstances of the trials of life. We need to enjoy life and use the gift of the fruit of the Spirit to enhance, strengthen, improve and enrich the life He has given us. “...for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10b

Paul was in prison when he wrote, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4. He said in the first part of Chapter Four that the Philippians were his joy and his crown. He was encouraged by their faith and steadfastness for Christ during these most difficult times. When God was giving Joshua direction for his life, He repeatedly told him to “be of good courage, and be strong.” Joshua 1:6,9 Courage and strength are a by-product of the Spirit of joy. The little word, ”be” written in these verses is a verb which means, to express necessity, obligation and action. It takes action on our part to be joyful. The keeping of a joyful heart must be cultivated and developed as we with a conscious effort delight ourselves in a triumphant life through Christ.

Thought:

An outward evidence of inward joy is laughter and smiling. Laughter releases the stress and pressures of life and gives reassurance and relaxation to the mind. This is sometimes called, “a sigh of relief,” after a howling laugh. Maybe it’s time you notified your face that you are a Christian---that is something to smile about. The joy of Christ is “joy unspeakable and full of glory.” I Peter 1:8 Why would you want to poison your day with thoughts that are less than joyous when you can think on the things of God to enrich the quality of life? “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4

Great Quote About Our Lord

He will not fail, nor mock, nor disappoint thee;
His consolations change not with the years;
With oil of joy He surely will anoint thee,
And wipe away thy tears.
--J. Danson Smith

The Will to Win (Part 7)

7. IT'S NORMAL TO HAVE PROBLEMS: A problem in this business, is the difference between what I have and what I want...and the secret in this difference is simply to bring the two together. We are all in the problem solving business, not real estate, Tupperware or Amway.

Thinking positive is OK in itself, but much more needs to be done other than just thinking positive about our trading...we can't run from the problems but rather we must learn to face them and defeat them, thus learning the how and why as we work through every situation that comes along.

Every time we solve a problem and think we have it all together...another problem will come along. We will never have all the problems solved, but we can learn from them as we go through life and take care of them as they occur. I have never met anyone who had it all together...I've met some that thought they had it together but no such thing.

Problems are here and they will always be here and it is like an old saying "when your up to your neck in alligator's, it's hard to remember that the initial objective was to drain the swamp"...alligator's represent the problems that we face...obstacles, and you must be bigger than anything that life may throw at you and who you are and who you want to be is bigger than any problem that can be put in your way through your life.

Robert Schuler said, "tough times don't last, but tough people do", and that is so true.

Something to Think About

"People can be divided into three groups: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened." -Zuck

I was reading a book today called, "Becoming a Woman of Beauty and Strength" by Elizabeth George. It is a book on the book of Esther. Here is an excerpt from her book that I really enjoyed today.

"Our study, dear one, is all about character, about nurturing strong traits, about developing powerful inner qualities, qualities that qualify you to be known as a woman after God's own heart.
............Action is a mark of the "strength" we're learning about in our quest to become women of beauty and strength.

*Action signals the beautiful presence of courage, the ability to think..and act.. under duress.

*Action also speaks of values. It means we value something enough to try rather than tire, to get up and go on rather than give up.

*Action also exhibits faith. Only a strong trust in God can enable us to go to war and fight for what's right.

Hilarious Video

The Will to Win (Part 6)

6. MAKE FEAR YOUR FRIEND: The one single thing that rules most people's life is fear. Most of what we do throughout our life is fear motivated. We want to succeed because we are afraid of failure, or we want money because we're afraid of poverty...you ever notice that the thing you don't want is the thing that runs your life...you don't want people to control you, so they control you...you don't want to feel weak, so you feel weak...you don't want to be rejected, so your rejected, you don't want to be sick, so your sick, you don't want to be nervous in front of people, so your nervous in front of people, you don't want to be broke, so your broke.

When we're willing to experience the things we don't want in our life then we can be free of them. When we learn to give up all of these fears within our life, then we can be free of them because we are choosing not to fear them but face them as a choice. Whatever we chose to do in life, we must choose it as a choice and not because we are fear motivated. One of the worst things that we can do is let our fears immobilize us into a state of zombie like inaction...you can only have in life what you are not afraid of. Associate with those who are looking for the same things you are trying to achieve and copy that life style, don't let anything or anyone hold you back or talk you down from your desired goals...find someone who has beat the 'fear' bug and get educated on this and learn from it.

The Will to Win (Part 5)

5. GIVE UP THE NEED FOR APPROVAL: I may not know all of the secrets to success, but the way to failure is in trying to please everybody...this can't be done. Constantly seeking approval is a self generating attack on your own self worth. If your worth or self esteem has to come from others, you will never have an opinion of your own as to your own worth. Your self worth must be stronger than the rejection of your ideas from others...one cannot gain an inch in life if they must first seek the approval from others...at the end of my life those that liked me will still like me and those that hated me will still be in the line. I cannot change their perception of what and who I am and I will not try to ever win their approval. The ones closest to me and know me and will always be there and that is my safe haven for my contented being.

The trap everyone falls into in trying to win approval is "what will they say if I do this?" This should be of little interest to you for if they think it, they will say it and when we are gone, they will still think and say what they felt and no amount of approval seeking from you or I will ever change their feelings or thoughts. At this moment somewhere I am sure that there are people saying just terrible things about me, and I can accept that and let it go.

Even if we changed the way we are 100% to please those that presently don't agree with our ways...the bad thing is that the ones that like us now, wouldn't be able to stand us then...a no win situation. The only authority figure that we should be concerned with is the one within ourselves. Be happy as an individual and learn from what you do and you will carry this throughout the rest of your life in a more positive nature, within your personal life and the association with others. Think for yourself, do for yourself and accept the credit for the success as well as the failures, but do not try to change your ways to try and please everyone, for then nothing gets done and failure is sure to step in.

Watch out in your life for the 'negative influence of other people'...every group or every organization has a N.I.O.P (ny-op)...they love to be negative and they are the type of person that brightens up a room, the minute they 'walk out of it', the type of person that the bartender asks to leave at 5 o'clock so that they can start the happy hour. You have met these people before, they walk through life with mental malnutrition between their ears...listen to someone like this for 5 minutes and you start believing in retroactive birth control.

You must understand that when you are up and positive, you make others feel ill and the reason is that your positive and alive approach to living, makes their 'deadness' so much more apparent and real. Most people are actually mentally dead but still moving and they have accepted their lot in life without the slightest intention of seeking any changes for the better. We see this negative feeling in people that we are trying to explain our approach to trading and how it works...in their eyes...they are not interested and will do as much as they can to discourage you from trying to improve your position and thus they have not given you the approval and it now is up to you to realize that in their eyes you see only jealousy and envy and the fear which they hold, and the failure of them to improve their own lives, and they, in return will try to prevent you from moving on.

Walk to the beat of only one drummer and that needs to be you...you will never win everyone over and you will never be able to please everyone.

Stay Tuned there is more to come!

The Will to Win (Part 4)

4. CREATE A FUTURE INSTEAD OF DEFENDING THE PAST: Blaming our current place in life on our parents, our mates, our friends or some historical event in our lives...is a total waste of time and creative energy. Maybe your parents liked your brother or sister better than you, maybe your father was an alcoholic or wanted to be, but never got around to doing it. You may be very well justified in feeling the way that you do, you may be right and everyone else is wrong...but this is all behind you now and you must move on. All that excess baggage of bad past and evil memories will do at present is keep you from moving ahead in your life to attain that which we all so desperately seek to have...the Good life. Nothing that has occurred in our past is ever going to change, it will always be there but we must keep it from causing us to let it rule what we do from this minute on.

Part of being wise is learning from the past and not getting into blaming yourself or anyone else. So, whatever may happen in your life, take a look at it and say to yourself, "what can I learn from this event?"...and then throw away the negative experience and carry it no longer as excess baggage, but keep the lesson that you have learned. Nothing will be accomplished by playing this event over, and over throughout your life...what didn't I do or what can I improve on? and then make that part of your goals for the new year.

Will to Win (Part 3)

3. TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE: The starting point to success is being responsible for the quality of your own life. Responsibility means the ability to respond rather than feel victimized…most people when their life’s not working, feel victimized. When I talk to people, I find most will have a VICTIM story…it’s not their fault, somebody is doing it to them…and if you would think this through, there are no victims, but rather just volunteer’s.

The healthy assumption that healthy people make of their life is that they…are responsible for the quality of their life. Responsibility does not mean guilt it just means that consciously or unconsciously I place myself in a situation…but I have the power to change that, but in order to change I must realize that I was responsible for creating it from the start, and great care must be taken not to repeat the same mistakes. This is sort of like complaining about the same lunch everyday to a fellow office worker, and he remarks “Why don’t you have your wife make something else for you”…you answer, “I can’t, I make my own lunch…I’m not married”…We make our own lunch people and the sooner we come to that conclusion, the further along the road to success that we will be.

Sometimes the victim story in our lives comes from ignorance…no one wants to be sick or doesn’t want their relationship to work or doesn’t want to have any money or doesn’t want their business to succeed, if that is happening in your life. then somewhere along your line, you’ve made a decision to experience that…maybe you thought you need it, maybe your punishing yourself out of guilt, we all have a tremendous amount of guilt in our life…maybe you think that’s all you can have or maybe your afraid of success.

I have found over the years that more people are afraid to succeed then to fail. If you ask, most people will tell you the one thing they fear the most is to FAIL…but in actuality the fear of success will be what bothers most people, because when you are a success you can’t be a child anymore, because you will have to be responsible for your life. You’ll get more support in failure than you will in success…when your life doesn’t work, people will crowd around you, like puppies on a cold night and you’ll all get together and tell your victim stories about how it’s not going your way and they’ll say, “yeah, my life’s not working either” and that makes you right in your thinking. This ends up with a big bunch of losers gathering to share their failures…very counter productive way to go through your productive years.

The bad thing that happens is when your life is working…these same people will resent you. They resent you because if you are moving forward, their moving back and their going to resent you for your success…and this is something that you will need to accept in order to attain the success you want.

In order to have anything in life, we must first make it OK to have it before we go after it. You must make it OK inside of yourself first, in order to succeed you have to know that you deserve it and truly want it. Many people on an unconscious level feel that they don’t deserve to succeed and to this end, some will go into the ‘self destruct’ mode and this creates what they feel is a balance in life. You must see yourself as being successful, go for it and keep on the track and know that it is OK for you to be this successful and to ‘have it all’.

If you don’t have what you want in life, you are in for profound ‘despair and you can lie about it and say it doesn’t matter and joke about it, but it really does matter and each one of us wants something and until we get that…we’re going to feel that something is missing in our lives. We must look within ourselves for the answers and until we do…we keep looking outside of ourselves for the answer and it ain’t there kids.

Success

Success isn't a result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire.
~Arnold H. Glasow

Will to Win (part 2)

2. BE PREPARED TO TAKE RISKS: Be prepared to take risks and to make changes, we must risk in order to grow. The more you get wrapped up into what you have, who your with, where your income comes from or what your doing the more you relate to that person or place or thing as being the source of your good...but, the source of our good is our ideas and we have to be willing to back up our ideas with an expect-able level of risk. If you are not willing to risk then you will definitely not realize your own magnificence. Rewards in life will always be in direct proportion to the risk...No Risk, No Rewards, the more risks that you are willing to take the greater the reward is going to be for you. The biggest risk of all, is NOT RISKING, because if you don't risk you automatically LOSE.

With risk, comes CHANGE and there is nothing more sure in life than change. It is more sure than death and taxes...change is the order in the Universe. As a point of interest mental hospitals are filled with people who are unwilling or unable to except change. In our society one out of three people suffer some form of mental disorder at one time or other in their life...check out your neighbor to the left of your house, then check out the neighbor to the right side of your house...if they look OK, then it is you.

People that don't risk are into security, their whole life is about trying to be safe and secure. The truth here is that if you looking for security then you were born on the wrong planet...there is NO security here...if you give up the need to be secure, you automatically will be secure. The only way for anyone to truly be secure is to turn positive thinking into results and to do this we must make it OK to risk and to make changes.

The Will to Win

I am going to be sharing with you a letter I received from a good friend of mine, Darrell Singleton, a piece at a time! Hope that you enjoy!

TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE: Of all the living organisms on earth, only the human being was born without a built in software program for success...we all must find it within ourselves to supply that missing piece in order to succeed and how we will do this is through the process of thought. The idea behind this is "If I change the way I think, then I'll change the way I behave"... ideas are thereby created into results. All we have to do is to redirect our thinking to achieve the results we wish to have in our lives.

Ten Things to Remember:

1. CHANGE REASON INTO RESULTS: We should have only two things in our lives...reason and results and reasons DON'T COUNT. So what we need is to learn more about producing the desired results and stop coming up with reasons why we cannot do things. Most of the time people don't have what they want in their life and they justify not having it, by having a barrel full of reasons.

I'd like to be more successful...But...I'd like to meet the right person...But...I'd like to change jobs...But...I'd like to increase my business...But...I'd like to do this or I'd like to do that...But. So in thinking this over carefully, it appears that the only thing that is keeping us from attaining what we want is a big BUTT, and you will most likely discover that it's your butt, and the sooner we get off of the big butt, the sooner you can create that which you want and get your big butt out of the way.

Stay tuned I will be posting the other 9 things to remember later!!!
